Your questions

The Working Mind FAQ

Common questions about our workplace mental health training.

What is the difference between The Working Mind and Mental Health First Aid?
While Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is geared toward responding to acute mental health crises (similar to physical First Aid), The Working Mind focuses on proactive workplace mental health. It targets stigma reduction, early sign recognition, stress management, and workplace psychological safety, making it ideal for overall team culture and burnout prevention.
Can we book a private session for our organization?
Yes, absolutely. The Working Mind is designed specifically for organizations. We require a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 25 participants. Training can be held in-person at your offices, at our kentville facility, or virtually. Feel free to use the waitlist form above to request booking options, or contact us directly.
Are the Employee and Manager sessions separate classes?
Yes. The Employee Session is 5 hours long and is tailored to frontline staff. The Manager Session is 8 hours long and builds on the Employee content with specialized management training, including how to have mental health conversations with staff, recognizing when employees are struggling, and creating a supportive team environment.
