Your questions

Youth Basic First Aid FAQ

Common questions about the Youth Basic First Aid certification.

Does this meet workplace safety (OHS) requirements?
Yes, this course meets CSA Basic OHS standards and provides the official Canadian Red Cross Basic First Aid certificate (formerly Emergency First Aid).
Is there an age limit for this course?
Youth ages 12 to 17 book the dates listed on this page and pay 20% less than the adult rate. The discount is already in the price, so there is nothing to ask for. Not every Basic First Aid date carries a youth seat: if the one you want is not here, call us and we will tell you what is running. Younger children (ages 8 to 12) should enroll in the Brave Start (Stay Safe!) course.
